Â鶹AV RCMP’s Strike Force with the assistance of the Southeast District Emergency Response Team executed a pre-planned search warrant at a residence in the 1300-block of Sutherland Avenue for drug and firearm related offences. There was no risk to public safety.

Â鶹AV RCMP are executing a search warrant at a home on Sutherland Avenue.
Armed police officers were seen in the area between Burtch and Gordon just after 1 p.m. Lindahl Street and Pacific Court are closed to traffic.
The Emergency Response Team and the canine unit are also on scene.
