The City of Â鶹AV is moving its Parking Services office to a new address in an effort to streamline operations and make things easier for residents.

As of now, services like issuing ECO-Passes (for plug-in electric vehicles) and answering bylaw offence notice questions are being handled at 1450 St. Paul Street. That location will soon become the main hub for most parking-related services.

The office currently located at the Library Parkade will make the move to St. Paul Street on July 21.

If you're looking to get a residential or accessible parking permit, those are still being handled at city hall for now.

Parking Services oversees more than 1,350 on-street pay spots, around 3,200 spaces in three downtown parkades, and 24 surface lots. They also manage more than 200 street blocks where time limits or residential rules apply.

A city media statement says the parking strategy aims to improve short-term parking availability, remain financially self-sustaining without adding to the tax burden, and enhance customer service.
