Utility work starts July 21 on Burtch Road between Bernard and Lawrence avenues.

Starting Monday, July 21, and continuing through to Wednesday, July 23, crews will be doing investigative utility work that will reduce lanes along Burtch Road.

That means possible delays for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. The work will take place between Bernard and Lawrence Avenue, where construction of the Parkinson Recreation Centre is going on.

Signage will be in place to help direct traffic, but the City of Â鶹AV is recommending that commuters consider alternative routes during this time if possible.

Work is scheduled for Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., but it could extend into evenings, overnights or weekends. The extended hours are aimed at getting the work done as quickly and smoothly as possible with minimal disruption to nearby residents.

Road reports are available on the city’s website.
