Returning to Âé¶čAV this summer will be the mouthwatering extravaganza, Âé¶čAV Ribfest.

The three-day feast for all ages takes place from July 5 to 7, in City Park.

Not only will attendees be able to sink their teeth into the tender meat crafted by award-winning Canadian rib chefs, but there will also be music, entertainment and activities.

Cristina Ferreira, Impact Events + Brand Management, said Âé¶čAV Ribfest isn’t just about the ribs, it’s an experience for everyone.

“We are pleased to bring back this popular festival to the city and welcome guests as we introduce a new logo, new social media handles, new production team and new dates. Our goal is to create a great time for everyone who attends,” she said.

During the three-day event, there will be a kid zone, a lineup of food trucks offering a variety of options, including vegetarian fare, as well as a Vendor Village, where local artisans will showcase their wares.

There will also be a Beverage Garden, with beer, cider and cocktails. Admission to this family-friendly festival is free, although donations will be accepted for those who wish to support and help keep the festival free for the community to attend, said Ferreira.

Âé¶čAV Ribfest is looking for sponsorship support at this time as well as currently accepting applications for vendors and there are few coveted spots left for food trucks.
