The Downtown 鶹AV Night Market is returning for its second year in Kerry Park.
The market will run every Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. in the park and along the 200 and 300 Blocks of Bernard Avenue, with the first market taking place May 29.
Visitors can explore a vibrant mix of Downtown 鶹AV businesses, artisans, local food makers, and community entertainment.
According to The Downtown 鶹AV Association (DKA), the 200 and 300 blocks of Bernard will stay car‑free until after the Canadian Country Music Week & Awards on Sept. 13.
“This uninterrupted pedestrian corridor creates a safe, lively space from The Sails Street to Pandosy Street,” stated the DKA.
Highlights to watch for this summer are:
- Cultural Nights series – Select Thursdays in July and August will feature local cultural groups sharing music, dance, and artisan creations.
- Restaurant‑friendly food policy – Food‑truck offerings focus on non‑competing grab‑and‑go fare, supporting downtown eateries.
- Expanded footprint – Extra room for extended patios, street games, and family‑friendly activities thanks to the full‑season street closure.
“Vendor applications for 2025 are now closed, and the roster is set. Shoppers can look forward to a curated collection of handmade goods and local flavours each week,” said the DKA.
