A healthy North American food change has opened its newest location in Lake Country.

Salad and sandwich fast food restaurant Chopped Leaf will hold its grand opening at its new location at 9522 Main Street on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.

Local residents Delmar and Kadian Francis were able to help the franchise expand to Lake Country.

鈥淲e are so eager to bring Chopped Leaf to the Lake Country community,鈥� said Delmar. 鈥淢y wife and I were huge fans of Chopped Leaf, drawn to its delicious, healthy food and fit with our lifestyle. We decided to become franchisees because we appreciate the chain鈥檚 Canadian and local (麻豆AV) roots, its structured franchise business model, and the unique position it holds in the quick-service restaurant market.鈥�

To celebrate the newest location, bowls, wraps, and salads will be 50 per cent off throughout the grand opening. There will also be a ribbon cutting, activities, prizes, giveaways, and more.
