Some of B.C.'s top senior women's and men's rugby teams will be at Little Mountain Sports Fields next month to compete for the Saratoga Cup.
Hosted by the Salmon Arm Yeti and the BC Rugby Union, the Aug. 9-10 event is the championship tournament for the Okanagan, Kootenays and Interior regions. Approximately 500 people are expected to attend, including six to 10 rugby teams and guests.
Rugby games are scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days of the event, which promises fierce competition in a festival-like atmosphere. The public is welcome to come cheer on the teams and a licensed beer garden will be available throughout the event.
