Â鶹AV-born swimmer Taylor Ruck made her second trip to the podium Wednesday night at the Olympic Games in Rio.
Swimming the second leg of the race, the 16-year-old Ruck and her Canadian teammates won the bronze medal in the women's 4 by 200 metre relay.
Ruck, Katerine Savard, Brittany MacLean and Penny Oleksiak—with her third medal of the games—finished third in a new national record time of 7:45.39.
Ruck, who was born in Â鶹AV, moved with her family to Scottsdale, Arizona when she was 10 months old. She has returned regularly to Â鶹AV during the summers to visit her grandparents and also trained with the Â鶹AV AquaJets Swim Club.
Earlier this week, Ruck swam the third leg for Canada in a bronze medal win in the 4 by 100 freestyle relay.
