Lucas Johansen and Nick Merkley had a goal and two assists to lead the Âé¶¹AV Rockets to a 7-5 win over the Tri-City Americans in WHL action Saturday night at Prospera Place.

Tyson Baillie, Rourke Chartier, Calvin Thurkauf, and Dillon Dube each added a goal and an assist and Justin Kirkland also scored, as the Rockets rebounded from an overtime loss the previous night.

Michael Herringer earned the win in net as Âé¶¹AV outshot Tri-City 42-27.

The Rockets (29-10-3-0) are back in action next weekend when they travel to Victoria for a double-header against the BC Division rival Royals on Friday and Saturday nights.

Âé¶¹AV's next home game is Tuesday Jan. 19 when they host the Prince George Cougars.
