Dillon Dube and the Âé¶¹AV Rockets will play for gold Thursday at the world junior hockey championship in Montreal.

Âé¶¹AV Rockets forward Dillon Dube and his Canadian junior teammates will play the U.S. for the gold medal at the world junior hockey championship.

Team Canada booked a spot in Thursday's final against the Americans with a 5-2 semifinal win over Sweden Wednesday night in Montreal.

The U.S. defeated Russia 4-3 in a shootout in Wednesday's other semifinal.

Former Okanagan Rockets forward Tyson Jost is also a member of the Canadian team.

The Canada-U.S. gold medal final will played at 4:30 Pacific time on Thursday.
