Â鶹AV RCMP are treated the discovery of a dead woman in her downtown Â鶹AV home as suspicious.
On Saturday at 1:45 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call and arrived at a residence in the 800-block of Cawston Avenue to find a deceased 48-year-old woman.
Police said a 53-year-old man has been detained while the investigation continues under the auspices of the Â鶹AV RCMP Serious Crimes Unit.
Police will say little more at this point other than the circumstances surrounding the woman's death remain unclear.
