Update 1:45 p.m.
The mixer has been returned to its rightful owner. A few hours after the Âé¶čAV RCMP announced they were looking for the rightful owner, the man showed up to the detachment with all the proper documentation to pick it up.
According to Âé¶čAV RCMP Media Relations Officer Const. Mike Della-Paolera, the man thought the mixer was gone for good following the break and enter and never bothered to report it stolen.
Original
The Âé¶čAV RCMP are looking for the rightful owner of a mixing board that was stolen in Sept. 2022.
A high-end Pioneer audio mixing board was one of the items that Âé¶čAV RCMP found while investigating a break-and-enter of a downtown business that happened on Sept. 17 of last year.
âThe Âé¶čAV RCMP would like to return this property to itâs rightful owner,â said Media Relations Officer Const. Mike Della-Paolera. âIf you are the owner and able to provide proof, please attend the front counter of the Âé¶čAV RCMP Detachment on Richter Street.â
Anyone who comes to claim the item must provide some form of evidence of ownership, including proof of purchase, being able to identify any markings on it, or even a photo with the piece of equipment.
