Environment Canada has issued a warning of storm conditions, with reduced visibility and heavy snow, for Highway 3 from the Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass.
The storm is expected to taper off Tuesday afternoon.
âSnow levels will hover near 1,300 metres through the event,â the bulletin states. âAs of 4 a.m. PST this morning, up to 23 centimetres of snow has fallen over Kootenay Pass and up to 20 cm for Paulson Summit. An additional five-to-10 cm is expected today.â
