“Hey now, you’re an all-star!â€
That’s the call West Â鶹AV Warriors defenceman Isaiah Norlin got on Thursday as he wanted named to the BCHL All-Star Game.
Norlin is one of 17 BCHLers (one from each team) to be named as part of the first selections to the midseason classic, which this year takes place in Penticton. Norlin and the 16 other players were voted in by the coaches around the league. A fan vote will determine who makes the seven other roster spots on each team.
From Minneapolis, Minnesota, Norlin leads Warriors defenceman with 15 points (five goals, 11 assists) in 20 games so far this season.
BCHL All-Star weekend takes place in Penticton from Jan. 19-20, 2024.
