A couple of local personal trainers have made a big donation to a West Âé¶čAV high school.
Brian Mark and Cole DaSilva from Iron Energy Gym donated $10,000 to the Mount Boucherie Secondary School football team on Thursday, Nov. 30.
âOur goal with this donation is to remind these men to stay focused on their goals, because they are the future and decisions they make today will be the ones that shape the next generation,â Mark and De Silva said in a joint Instagram post.
They got inspired to make the donation after one of the players on the team reached out and spoke to Mark.
âAs football players, you guys are leaders in the community,â Mark told players at the cheque presentation. âPeople follow you around, theyâll watch what you do, and theyâre going to act like you.â
