Warmer weather means the outdoor skating rink in Stuart Park will close on Friday (Feb. 28) at 11 a.m.
The ice is becoming more difficult to maintain, according to the City of Âé¶čAV.
âWe had hoped to keep the rink operable throughout the 2025 Montanaâs Brier but the warming weather doesnât look like that will be possible,â says Steve Hebden, recreation facility operations supervisor. âItâs been an excellent season of skating down at the rink, but we are at the point where we need to close the ice surface.â
Skaters looking to take a final lap on Friday should check the live cam on the before heading to the rink.
