A number of public information sessions on the North End Plan are being held over the next few weeks.
Following the postponement of activities due to wildfires in the Central Okanagan, Âé¶čAV residents can provide input on three neighbourhood concepts:
- Wednesday, October 11, 3-6 p.m., Okanagan Regional Library, Downtown Âé¶čAV Branch;
- Saturday, October 14, 9 a.m-1 p.m., Knox Mountain Park;
- Sunday, October 15, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Knox Mountain Park.
As well, an online survey on has been extended to Oct. 15.
âWeâre glad to be relaunching engagement and are looking forward to meeting with residents to share information, answer questions, and hear from the community,â said Aaron Thibeault, project lead.
The North End Plan concepts are intended to give high-level direction for the entire neighbourhood, including the former Tolko Mill Site, a 17-hectare privately-owned waterfront property.

The Mill Site redevelopment is being addressed through a separate planning process being led by the landowner.
âAt this stage, all North End and Mill Site concepts are drafts and open to change,â Thibeault added. âFor the final concepts to come together, itâs important for both teams to hear from the community.â
