The Âé¶čAV RCMP are investigating after a man was brought to the Âé¶čAV General Hospital in the early hours of Jan. 19, with gunshot wounds.
The initial investigation led officers to a residence in the 200-block of Asher Road in Âé¶čAV and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team was deployed.
âWe believe this incident to be targeted and does not pose a risk to public safety,â said Cpl. Michael Gauthier Âé¶čAV RCMP Media Relations Officer. âThe investigation remains ongoing and in order to protect itâs integrity, no further information will be provided at this time.â
The man shot suffered non-life threatening injuries.
