The Âé¶čAV Chamber of Commerce is seeing unprecedented membership growth in the first quarter of 2025 - the highest year over year upturn post-pandemic.
âWe are all seeing the news and survey information,â said Shane Osborne, manager of business development, in a media release. âUncertainty, and long-term business confidence crumbling. It seems that businesses are turning to the Chamber to shore up their business planning.â
He noted that the Chamber has spoken to business members and the media, and hosted a tariff panel with local CEOs.
âI think this means our members see their voices heard and reflecting challenges and opportunities all at the same time. We know that the Chamber is well-positioned to bring up-to-date data and networking support to members.â
No membership numbers were mentioned in the release. Osborne added that the Chamber has âintensified advocacy efforts at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels, ensuring that members receive timely insights and a platform to raise concerns.â
