RONA's Home Sweet Home Campaign raises money for non-profits across Canada.

Four Thompson-Okanagan RONA stores are participating in the company’s nationwide Home Sweet Home Campaign to raise funds to help provide access to housing for Canadians in need.

Overseen by the RONA Foundation, the campaign runs from Sept. 1 to 30 in stores across the country, including 鶹AV, Penticton, Vernon and Kamloops. The campaign supports nearly 150 Canadian non-profits that help victims of domestic violence, low-income families, and people with disabilities or mental health issues.

Selected organizations include Habitat for Humanity Okanagan Society (鶹AV), South Okanagan Women in Need Society (Penticton), Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Vernon), and Elizabeth Fry Society of Kamloops.

“Every person should have a safe place to live,” said Josée Lafitte, RONA Foundation director. “That’s something I strongly believe in, especially given the issue of access to housing that affects so many Canadians today,”

Customers can donate by visiting a participating store. Online shoppers can donate when shopping on the RONA website.
