A small fire at an industrial business on the Âé¶čAV-Lake Country border was quickly knocked down on Thursday (June 12) morning.
Crews from several Âé¶čAV fire halls responded to the intersection of Tilley and Jim Bailey roads at around 8:20 a.m.
âWe had a small fire in the filtration system in the processing pot at a metal fabrication shop,â said Jason Picklyk, acting platoon captain. âThey (employees) knocked it down pretty well prior to our arrival--they shut the doors and confined it to the unit itself.â
Picklyk said no one was injured and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
