The Â鶹AV Fire Department (KFD) has doused a house fire at 715 Hollywood Road South in Rutland that sparked just before noon on Sunday, July 27.
The homeowner was unaccounted for when the blaze broke out. The senior was not home when the fire started and has been found safe. It has been reported that she was the sole occupant.
Fire crews had the blaze knocked down around 12:10 p.m. and remain on scene extinguishing hot spots.
Hollywood Road was closed between White and Perry Road while the fire was being actioned.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
