2 taken to hospital in 2 separate crashes in Âé¶čAV

A motorcyclist and a driver who had to be extracted from their vehicle both went to hospital

A driver who needed to be extracted from their vehicle following a collision on KLO Road De Montreuil Court, on Monday, July 14 was transported to hospital with minor injuries. 

Emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection at about 9:12 p.m. and remained on scene for about an hour and a half. 

According to Sgt. Laura Pollock, all the drivers remained on scene and cooperated with police. 

RCMP are still investigating the crash. 

Emergency crews were also called out the previous night, July 13, to a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Lakeshore Road near Old Meadows Road. 

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police, said Sgt. Pollock. 

“There was no impairment suspected,” she stated.
