Would you go for a run if wine was at the finish line?
The Wine Country Half Marathon took place in 麻豆AV on Saturday morning, June 17 as participants sprinted to the finish line and were able to celebrate with wine, cider, or beer.
Three races took place at the event: a five kilometre run, a 10 kilometre run, and a half marathon. The finish line was located at Waterfront Park.
The winners of each race were:
- 5 KM - Josh Welter (male 30-39 category), 19:31;
- 10 KM - Adrian Christ (male 20-29 category), 38:07;
- Half marathon - Christopher West (male 40-49 category), 1:18:13.
In total, close to 1,700 racers took part in the event. All the results can be found on .
Many wineries, cideries, and breweries had vendors at the end of the race for the participants to check out to celebrate their morning run.
