Âé¶čAVâs Landmark buildings were busy Sept. 26 as people gathered to fundraise for Easter Seals.
The Drop Zone event runs annually across B.C. Âé¶čAV was the final stop on this yearâs tour.
The event hoped to raise over $300,000 province-wide and was over $250,000 upon arriving in Âé¶čAV.
VP of Philathropy and Engagement with Easter Seals BC Mike Leland said Âé¶čAV had the most willing participants with 55 people dropping down the 24-storey building.
âEaster Seals works with people with disabilities⊠Here in Âé¶čAV we have Camp Winfield in Lake Country. Children, youth, and adults can come enjoy a weekend where they can be amongst peers, attend programs and services that help them build confidence, self esteem,â Leland said, noting all funds raised in Âé¶čAV will stay local.
