For the past three years, Brittaney of Glitz and Glam Party Supply has been decorating the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Pink Shirt Day Breakfast. She has donated over $7,000 of product and many hours to the kindness movement.
A parent herself, Brittaney believes in the kindness message of Pink Shirt Day.
âBullying is a big problem in schools that extends into adulthood,â said Brittaney. âItâs nice to see that organizations like Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs are taking a proactive approach to anti-bullying by promoting kindness in kids and adults.â
Brittaney was abuzz with ideas for next yearâs Pink Shirt Day at the cheque presentation. âI want to do something different next year. Pink draping and maybe some live flowers.â
âBrittaney has made our Pink Shirt Day events look really sharp over the past three years,â said Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs CEO Diane Entwistle. âWe appreciate her artistic eye and professionalism.â
