The Festival of Trees, in support of the BC Childrenâs Hospital Foundation, will be on display from Nov. 15 to Jan. 3 at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort.
Each tree is uniquely decorated and sponsored by businesses and community members and visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite tree, and donate to BC Childrenâs Hospital.
"This event is more than a celebration, itâs an opportunity for us all to come together and make a meaningful impact on childrenâs health across the province,â said Tara Gerald, Delta Grand general.
The community is invited to the Festival of Trees lighting ceremony on Nov. 14 with a silent auction in support of BC Childrenâs. Guests can also contribute by dining at the Oak + Cru Social Kitchen and Wine Bar where $1 from every burger sold throughout the Festival of Trees will be donated to the foundation.
"Support from events like the Festival of Trees makes an incredible difference for children and families across British Columbia,â said Rita Thodos, VP of philanthropy at BC Childrenâs Hospital Foundation. âEvery visitor and donor is helping us move closer to our vision of a healthier future for all kids in BC.â
