The Sicamous Eagles took home a win on home ice for their season opener.
In a match-up against the Â鶹AV Chiefs, Sicamous totaled 42 shots on goal while Â鶹AV racked up 20, and with double the scoring chances, the Eagles skated away with the 5-2 win.

The tie was broken just 42 seconds into the second by Â鶹AV’s Campbell Pinsonneault, which would prove to be Â鶹AV’s final goal of the evening.
Sicamous tied it 2-2 in about two minutes, with a goal by Nick Wright. The leading goal was then taken by Parker Fournier, short-handed. A total of six penalties decorated the second period.
Finally, the Eagles got some insurance goals in the third, one at 5:17 by Boutcher followed by a last call, 19:19 slam to the back of the empty net by Caleb Dehoog.
