Punch your ticket and enjoy the local martial arts scene as Okanagan Fight Night IV is set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Put on by Okanagan-based company Victory International Promotion (VIP), the night will feature fighters from across the Okanagan and the province battle in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu.
The main event includes Âé¶¹AV's Kyler Ashley from Top Notch taking on Abbotsford's Max Burridge from Burridge Martial Arts in three, three-minute rounds of Muay Thai, with one minute breaks between rounds.
Mollie Oliver, from Pacific Top Team in Âé¶¹AV is set to take the stage against Vancouver's Maxime Ye.
Other Okanagan fighters going to battle are:
- Amreek Aujla-Fieldt - A F Academy West Âé¶¹AV (Muay Thai);
- Durvin Davis - Toshido MMA Âé¶¹AV (Jiu-Jitsu);
- Greg Pitura - Toshido MMA Âé¶¹AV (Jiu-Jitsu);
- Mikha Gosel - Pacific Top Team West Âé¶¹AV (Jiu-Jitsu);
- Stephan Dueck - Pacific Top Team Penticton (Muay Thai);
- Ryden Hiller - Pacific Top Team Penticton (Jiu-Jitsu);
- Maninder Jandu - Pacific Top Team Penticton (Jiu-Jitsu);
- Jeff 'The Protecter' Malek - MLK Abilities (Muay Thai).
In total, there will be 12 fights - seven Muay Thai and five Jiu-Jitsu.
