Âé¶čAV Rockets captain Max Graham has signed a pro deal in the American Hockey League.

After four seasons and nearly 250 games with the Âé¶čAV Rockets, team captain Max Graham is turning pro.

The 20-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins. It’s his first professional deal and a major step in a hockey career that started in his hometown of Âé¶čAV.

Graham was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 5th round (139th overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft. His NHL rights were later traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in March 2025.

Over five WHL seasons, Graham became known for his steady, two-way play, leadership qualities, and physical presence. He put up 133 points in 237 regular season games (56 goals and 77 assists), along with 10 points in 20 playoff appearances.

Graham wore a letter for three of his five seasons and was named captain for the 2024–25 campaign.

“The entire Âé¶čAV Rockets organization congratulates Max on signing his first professional contract and thanks him for his tremendous impact both on and off the ice,” a Rockets media release stated.
