The Âé¶čAV Rockets have lost captain Max Graham for the rest of the season.
Although he had successful knee surgery, he will not be back for the rest of the 2024-25 campaign.
âLosing Max for the remainder of the season is an enormous loss for the club,â said Rockets President and General Manager Bruce Hamilton. âHe plays the game of hockey the right way and his presence on the ice will be missed. We all wish Max makes a quick recovery from his surgery so he can fulfill his hockey pursuits.â
Graham suited up in 34 games, registering 13 goals and 22 assists for 35 points this season. He has played 237 games with both the Rockets and the Everett Silvertips, scoring 56 goals and adding 133 points and 328 penalty minutes. Graham was acquired by the Rockets in a trade with Everett in August 2021.
He was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
Âé¶čAV also lost Tij Iginla to injury for the season in December he had successful hip surgery.
Michael Cicek, Jakub Stancl, and Carter Kowalyk will be the Rockets' alternate captains for the remainder of the season.
