On Friday, the Kamloops Blazers' comeback attempt against the Â鶹AV Rockets fell just short.

A night later, the Blazers weren't to be denied.

With the Blazers' net empty and Kamloops trailing 4-3 late in the third, Colin Shirley knotted the game up with his second of the series at 19:29.

Twenty-six seconds later, Rehill buried his second of the night behind Â鶹AV netminder Michael Herringer to tie the best-of-seven series 1-1.

Tomas Soustal scored twice, while Rourke Chartier and Rodney Southam, with a shorthanded goal, also tallied for Â鶹AV.

The goaltenders, Herringer and ConnoR Ingram, each faced 44 shots.

Game 3 is set for Tuesday night in Kamloops.
