VIDOTTO, LUIGINO (LOUIS)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandpa and great-grandpa, Luigino Vidotto, whom many knew as Louis. He passed away at Â鶹AV GeneralHospital on March 3, 2016 at the

age of 89 years.He is survived by

his loving wife, Iolanda, to whom

he was married for 67 years; his children, Gianni (Rosanne) and Naida; his grandchildren, Kristopher (Mya), Jeremy (Angie) and Luke; and his great-grandchild Troy Lang.Luigino was born in Treviso, Italy on February 3, 1927.

He immigrated to Canada in 1952 where he was a skilled pipefitter, and respected realtor and business man for sixty-four years. Having lived in Prince Rupert, Prince George and Â鶹AV, he was well regarded by everyone, and in everything that he did. During his retirement he was an active soccer coach, a joyful singer and an enthusiastic member of both the Alpini club and the Italo-Canadian club. He was ambitious, courageous and strong of character;

never complained; was devoted to his wife and family, and lived life to the fullest. We will miss him greatly.
