Joe Numada passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2018 at the age of 86. Survived by his daughter Sheila; son Dale (Cathy) and grandchildren; Jon (Marie), Sarah (Tyler), Andrew and Katie (Roy); great grandchild Evan; sisters Ethel Kinoshita and Emma (John) Naito. Predeceased by Emma Numada (wife).
Joe was born and raised in Rutland and worked in sawmills throughout BC as a saw filer and eventually ended his career back in Â鶹AV. Joe then spent the rest of his life striving to become a professional golfer and curler. He will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 27th, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Â鶹AV, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
