Geoff passed away after a brief illness on August 23, 2016 at the age of 69. He is survived by his very loving wife of 33 years, Marci; 5 children: Chandra (Bill) Stevenson, Travis (Sheri) Paynter and their daughter Paige, Brent (Renata) Detta and their children Teigen and Palmer; Nigel (Hayley) Paynter and their children Hattie and River, Pete (Tonia) Detta and their daughter Taryn; he is also survived by his mother Sheila Paynter, 5 siblings: Gillian (Mike) Evans, Farlie Paynter, Henry (Barb) Paynter, David (Laurie) Paynter, Alisen Paynter and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Henry at age 98. A Celebration of Geoff’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Emmanuel Church, 2600 Hebert Road, West Â鶹AV, BC.
