PENROSE, EDNA CORA
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edna Cora Penrose at 93 years of age on March 26, 2016 in Â鶹AV, BC, with her beloved niece Roberta and good friend Mel by her side.
Edna leaves to mourn her sister Helen Penrose of Â鶹AV; niece Roberta Coulombe of Port Alberni; great nephew and niece Jordan Coulombe and Hayley (Brian) Tassie and their children Kinley and Reegan. She was predeceased by
her parents Frank and Ida Penrose.
Edna was born and raised in Tawatinaw, near Edmonton, Alberta; she worked for Swifts Meats; transferred to Vancouver, and eventually to Â鶹AV, BC where she worked at Â鶹AV General Hospital. She retired in 1987; and was a faithful member of the congregation of First United Church.
A private celebration of life will be held.
