Byron Long passed away peacefully, at home, on January 18, 2018 at the age of 96.
He was born December 23, 1921 in Kentville, Nova Scotia. A veteran of World War II, he lived in Westbank for over 50 years.
Byron is survived by his four children: Clara (Blake), Dawson (Shelagh), William, and Martin (Diane); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Verna, in 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday January 29, 2018 at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church, 2630 Alhambra Drive, West Â鶹AV, BC.
