WALMSLEY, BARBARA KAY

Our beloved Barb has gone to be with the Lord, who has been her guiding light. She passed away peacefully at Cottonwoods Care Centre, Â鶹AV. Barb was born in Lanigan, Sk., and grew up in Watson, SK. She spent many years working at Vancouver Children's Hospital as a Practical Nurse. She loved her work and often referred to the children as "her kids." Barb is Survived by her sister Jill (Gerry) Greilich of Florida; brothers Jim (Olga) of Penticton, and Jack (Marion) of Â鶹AV; also 7 nieces and nephews, David, Elaine, and Jayson Walmsley, Nancy Doepke, James Greilich, and Malena Lee; as well as 11 great nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Dr. Appleby and Cottonwood's Nursing Staff. Memorial Service held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1:00pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Â鶹AV.
