Andrew (Andy) Sarmiento aged 74 of Âé¶čAV BC passed away with family by his side on May 14, 2017.

Andy (Chooch) moved to Âé¶čAV in the 80’s where he enjoyed a career in construction and was a “jack of all trades.” Andy loved to play golf and shared with Mary his love of fishing. McCullough Lake will always be a special place to remember Andy.

Andy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Mary (Komikiewicz), son Michael, daughter Kelly (Jason), granddaughters Tania, Lorisa, Sheena and great granddaughter Ivory, sister Patricia (Tom), brother Lorne (Jacklyn) and a large extended family. Andy was preceded by his mother Sophie.

There will be a celebration of Andy’s life

on Sunday May 22 at 2 pm taking place

at the home of Jesse Sarmiento

1415 Kelglen Crescent.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that a donation be made to the BC Cancer Agency or the BC Branch of the Kidney Foundation.

A special thanks to the staff of the sixth floor of the Âé¶čAV General Hospital and to Jonathan

for being there for Mary.
