A 42-year-old Â鶹AV man has succumbed to injuries incurred in a March 11 ATV accident in Oyama.

The man, who has been identified as Â鶹AV Dan Moss, passed away in hospital and the BC Coroner's Service is now involved in this investigation, along with the RCMP.

"The RCMP have also learned that the 46-year-old Lake Country (riding alongside Moss) man remains in hospital," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey, in a press release. "He had not been previously released and continues to receive treatment for his injuries."

On March 10, 2016 at 2:36 pm, the Lake Country RCMP responded to a request to assist BC Ambulance Service who were attending to a report of an ATV rollover crash in the 5000 block of Oyama Lake Road.

The ATV was located eight feet down an embankment resting against a tree, it sustained heavy damage, as did the two men, who were both rushed to hospital in critical condition.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist conducted a detailed analysis of the scene. The ATV has been seized by investigators for a full mechanical inspection.
