A man and woman allegedly made off with a number of high-end putters from a Vernon golf course, and police are looking to identify them.

The Vernon RCMP is appealing to the public to help ID the pair of suspects in its theft investigation. The incident took place Monday, July 28, around 7:45 p.m., when the pair entered the pro shop at The Rise Golf Resort and allegedly stole eight Scotty Cameron putters totalling $5,000 in value.

The theft was captured on CCTV and on Thursday police released images of the suspects.

We’re putting these photos out hoping someone will be able to help us identify these people and further our investigation, said Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, in an Aug. 7 news release.

Anyone who recognizes either of the people in the photos or has any information about the investigation is asked to contact the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file number 2025-12406.
