Update: Two men arrested for stealing gas in Black Mountain

Five police vehicles said to have attended the scene

UPDATE: Âé¶¹AV RCMP has told Capital News that they responded to a report of a theft of gas from a constuction site in the Black Mountain Area. The suspect vehicle, a U-Haul, fled the scene and stopped in the area of Highway 33 and Pyman Road where the three occupants of the U-Haul fled on foot.

With the assistance of their police dog services, the RCMP apprehended a 35-year old man and a 39-year old man. They are facing possible charges of theft under $5,000 and fleeing from police.

There was a strong police presence in the Black Mountain area of Âé¶¹AV on the morning of April 6.

Video received by Capital News indicated five RCMP vehicles on scene, accompanied by what sounded like a helicopter. Officers seemed to be using a flashlight to search the area.
