Fittingly entitled Drawn Together, 90 local artists answered the call to explore the realm of drawing for this yearâs annual membersâ exhibition at the Âé¶čAV Art Gallery.
Submissions came in all variety of media â painting, sculpture, photography, digital media as well as approaches to traditional drawing.
The exhibition is in the KAGâs front project space, which is free for the public to view until Feb. 5.
âIt is always exciting to see the wide range of works contributed for the annual membersâ exhibition,â said Nataley Nagy, KAGâs executive director. âWe are once again thrilled to be able to share these with the community as one of the many ways we give back to our valued members for their ongoing support.â
A 192-page digital publication was produced to accompany Drawn Together. Each of the works was professionally photographed and has been included as a full-page image in the catalogue. Opposite each image is information about the artists. The publication can be viewed on an iPad installed in the exhibition space, or on your own devices at www.kelownaartgallery.com.
The Âé¶čAV Art Gallery offers four exhibition spaces that showcase changing contemporary and historical Canadian art, at 1315 Water St. in the heart of the Cultural District in downtown Âé¶čAV.
