That sentiment echos around Âé¶¹AV and the Central Okanagan as the area residents get set for a weekend of Halloween fare and Monday, the actual day for celebrating ghosts and goblins and candy.
is just one of the many events that will be taking place.
Here is a list of activities happening around the Central Okanagan:
•The annual Family Monster Bash hosted by the City of Âé¶¹AV is on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Capital News Centre, 4105 Gordon Drive.
•The Âé¶¹AV and District Safety Council is holding it's annual Halloweeen Haunt Saturday Oct. 29 from noon to 3 at 395 Hartman.
•Arion Therapeutic Farm, at 2457 Saucier Road, Âé¶¹AV hosting a monster Halloween Bash Sunday Oct. 30 from 3 to 5 p.m.
•The Orchard Park Mall's annual candy giveaway will take place on Monday starting at 3 p.m. Merchants will be handing out treats as will the mall administrative staff at the guest service centres.
•The Rotary Center for the Arts will celebrate Halloween with Delhi 2 Dubln and Kinshira Performance Group at the Spook & Spin Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 29, 8 p.m., at the RCA.
•The October Supper Club will gather for a four-course dinner called Trick or Treat-Obscure & Amazing BC Grapes at monTREALfood restaurant on Kirschner Rd.
•The Âé¶¹AV Singles Club will host a Halloween dance for adults on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Rutland Centennial Hall beginning at 7 p.m.
•The Peachland Community Centre, 4450 6th Street, is hosting a Halloween family dance party Monday, October 31, 2016 at 6 p.m.
•Lake County's Beasley Park and the Central Okanagan Regional District are holding combined events on Halloween evening. The pumpkin walk takes place at Reiswig Park from 5 to 8 p.m. A bonfire and fireworks event begins at 6:30 p.m. with the fireworks going off at 8 p.m Oct. 31.
•The Oyama Community Club is hosting a Halloween party Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Oyama Memorial Hall.
•The bride of Chucky welcomes guests at an elaborate Halloween set-up at 402 Houghton court in Rutland.
