Not all bikers are bad people, some like to make Easter egg hunts.
The Interior B.C. Association for Injured Motorcyclists will be hosting its third annual Easter Egg Hunt at Kayola Regional Park.
âItâs something we just do for the kids, to prove that bikers arenât mean people. Some of us are friendly family people,â laughed president Coralee Veness.
The idea came to Veness from a similar Easter egg hunt in Vernon.
The first year had around 25 kids, and last yearâs event increased to 40. âWe had to buy more candy,â she said.
Four volunteers buy and hide candy for children. There will also be a colouring contest and a free lunch following the hunt.
Kids of all ages are invited and registration is recommended. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
