Ever been into a business or been helped by a local group that just went above and beyond for you? Now you can let the community know by nominating them for an award.
Nominations are open for the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce 2025 Business Excellence Awards, the regionâs premier celebration of outstanding achievement in business, leadership, and community impact.
From July 23 to Aug. 24, residents are encouraged to nominate exceptional local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals who are making a difference in the Greater Vernon area.
With categories ranging from Business of the Year to Young Entrepreneur and the newest category, Agribusiness Excellence, there are many opportunities to recognize the people and organizations driving our region forward.
âThese awards recognize more than just business success â they highlight innovation, resilience, and the spirit of community that defines Greater Vernon,â said Mayla Janzen, events coordinator. âWe encourage everyone to take a moment to celebrate someone who inspires them.â
All nominees will be honoured at the Business Excellence Awards Gala on Oct. 23, at the Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre.
Nominations are open to the public and available to both chamber members and non-members at . Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of independent judges.
