Okanagan Falls’ only Chinese food restaurant is closing its doors for good today, Dec 31 at 8 p.m.

The Falls Restaurant, located at 1030 Main Street has been serving up the town’s best Chinese food for over 10 years.

But according to a post on social media, “the owners are tired and it’s time.”

“Yes, this is very sad,” said Heather Jackson, who has worked with the owners for years and made the post. “We thank everyone for their support over the last 10-plus years.”

Well wishes came pouring in following the post about closing.

Many wished Ken and his family the best while others thanked Heather for her great service.

There were also many comments that it was the best Chinese food around with some coming as far as from Summerland to eat there.

If you want to have one last meal at Falls Restaurant, they are serving food until 8 p.m. Dec. 31.
