This Fatherâs Day, one lucky Âé¶čAV resident could drive away in a fully loaded 2020 GMC Acadia AT4, but the real win is supporting children and youth in the community who need it most.
The Child and Youth Advocacy Centre of Âé¶čAV (CYAC) has launched its annual Fatherâs Day Car Raffle, in partnership with Lift Auto Group and CSN Collision. Supporting the âWin a Car, Change a Life,â initiative will make a big difference for vulnerable kids and families across the Okanagan.
âEach season at Âé¶čAV Actors Studio, we tell stories that move usâstories of resilience, hope, and the power of community,â said Nathan Flavel, Studio co-founder and CYAC board member, in a media release. âBut some of the most important stories are unfolding quietly, every day, right here in our city.â
The CYAC provides a safe, supportive space for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. Their work brings together law enforcement, social workers, medical professionals, and mental health experts to ensure young people receive the care and justice they deserve.
âAs a proud board member, Iâve seen firsthand how life-changing their work is, and how deeply our community relies on it,â Flavel added.
Tickets for the raffle are now available, and every purchase goes directly toward supporting the CYAC.
âBuying a ticket isnât just a chance to win an incredible vehicle, itâs a tangible way to stand up for vulnerable kids and families in our region,â Flavel said.
