West Âé¶¹AV high school hosting third annual Walk for Mental Health

Students from Mount Boucherie Secondary School in West Âé¶¹AV will be walking for mental health on May 8. 

The third annual Walk for Mental Health is raising funds for Foundry Âé¶¹AV, a free clinic assisting youth aged 12-24 and their families navigate mental health and substance use challenges. 

Funds are raised through and . Over the past two years, the event has garnered $20,245 for youth mental health services. 

The full-day event will include a guest presentation in the morning by former NHL goalie Corey Hirsch, followed by a five-kilometre walk and an afternoon of fun on the fields with games, music, food trucks, community vendors, face painting and more. 

This year's fundraising goal is $15,000.
