West Â鶹AV fire crews were called out in the early hours of Monday (July 14) morning after a grass fire started near homes on Red Cloud Way.

At about 2:30 a.m., firefighters arrived in the 3500 block of Red Cloud Way to find a small grass fire burning in a treeline area.

"First arriving crews discovered a Rank 2 grass fire (flames, slow moving) in the tree line approximately 60 feet by 60 feet in diameter," West Â鶹AV Fire Rescue said in a statement.

Crews acted quickly and were able to stop the fire from spreading.

There were no injuries or property damage reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
